New fence line and slatted vision screen

The finishing touches of this complete garden makeover in collaboration with Joshua Evan Davies. Over the past year we have had the pleasure of updating and redesigning this family garden. We have replaced the last run of old fencing and added in a slatted vision screen. This matched with another screen created by Josh at the other end of the deck. Completing the balance of the design scheme nicely.

We have replaced the existing painted deck that wrapped the exterior of the property with a new pressure treated version. The decking now joins various areas of the garden and ties the whole look together. It means that the transition from one space to another is seamless.

Another detail that we have incorporated is the glass balustrade; a modern edition to mirror the amount of glass in the house and new building. Since this space is for family, it’s main footfall will inevitably be in the evenings or at weekends. Strategically placed lighting in the deck was essential to make the whole area usable during these times.

Josh has also been on constructing a larch clad building, pergola and deck, as well as, an Oak and Cedar shingle hot tub and chillout area. Check out his website to see photos.
